The record set in 2009 by Sebastian Wenta from Poland in the Heavy Stone event beat the record previously held since 1985 by Geoff Capes.
Arthur Rowe's record throw of 119ft 2in in the open heavy hammer event of 1970 was at last beaten by Bruce Aitken with his throw of 119ft 4in in 2009.
In 2023 the existing 1978 record of 16 minutes and 59 seconds was broken by Jamie Crowe with a time of 16 mins 48 secs
In 2022, two new records, both by A. Hamilton: Open Track Event 100 Yards and Light Field Event High Jump.
